David Lazer

David Lazer (Executive Producer) came to the Henson organization from IBM, where for many years he headed the film and television division. In this capacity he pioneered new concepts in training films and videotapes, which led him to produce the Muppet Meeting Film series for general industry use at conventions and sales and training meetings.

Lazer was executive producer of the enormously successful Muppet Show and the Muppers' first feature film, The Muppet Movie. He co-produced (with Frank Oz) The Great Muppet Caper and is an executive vice-president of Henson Associates.
